Sonic Expression
Instruments and the Expressive Body
My earliest expressions came through movement — dancing in Tokushima’s traditional festival and playing our drums by instinct.
Now I explore how gesture, touch, and the body can shape
new forms of creative expression across instruments and media.

Piano
I started playing the piano simply to play the songs I loved.
Learning by ear, I explored each note with my fingers, intuitively and by feel.
What began on a school piano has become a space for exploring emotion, structure, and the physicality of sound.
Air Guitar
It all began with the 2020 Air Guitar World Championship
Japan Regional, a performance that never happened in person due to COVID.
With no physical guitar to hold, I found a freedom in movement that even real instruments cannot contain. In Air Guitar, my body is the instrument — performance is an act of imagination.
Playing on Imagination
Anything can become an instrument
the moment imagination touches it.
